Dedicated IPv4 address
Reserved for your machine for as long as it exists, included in the hourly rate, even when the machine is stopped.
Rescue console
Screen and keyboard in your browser (noVNC), for when SSH stops answering: a firewall that is too strict, a misconfigured network, a boot that hangs.
Managed network firewall
Applied at the hypervisor level, before traffic reaches your system. All inbound traffic is blocked except SSH (port 22); you open the other ports from the console.
Root access and SSH key
Your public key is installed at creation. The root password is encrypted, shown once in your console, then erased from our systems.
Hostname set for you
The one you choose when ordering is applied automatically on first boot.
Backups
Two safety nets, to enable as you need them.
No backup is included by default: you choose what you protect, and you only pay for what you keep.
On demand
Snapshots
A picture of the server taken before a risky update, restored in one click if it goes wrong.

Daily backup, 7 days
A full copy of the server every night, kept off the node. You restore it yourself from the server's page.

A backup reduces the risk of loss without removing it. Also keep your own copy, to an outside destination, and check from time to time that it restores.

Beyond it, the rest of the month's hours are not billed, even if the machine keeps running.
Deletion
Meter stopped
Deleting the machine stops billing, with a one-hour minimum. Stopping it is not enough: its IP and disk stay reserved.

Before you order
- A stopped server is still billed.
- Its IP address and disk stay reserved for you. To stop paying, delete it.
- A prepaid service.
- If your balance runs out, your machines are suspended and stop being billed; they are kept for 7 days before permanent deletion.
- Outbound port 25 blocked.
- It protects the reputation of our addresses. Opening it is something you request and justify.
- No backup by default.
- Snapshots and daily backup are added from the server's page, and billed on top of it.
- One hour minimum, then by the second.
- A server deleted within an hour of its first start pays for the full hour; after that, billing runs by the second.
- Acceptable use applies.
- Outbound traffic is monitored on its metadata, never its content: a server that attacks, floods or mines is cut off without notice, with its IP and disk kept. See the terms of use.
